All of our Fine Art Prints are printed using an Epson 11880 Large Format 60″ Inkjet printer using archival inks. This is an inkjet printing process as opposed to the traditional prints process. These products are an art paper which usually is more textured and delicate compared to standard lustre prints. Our fine art prints are well suited to displaying art or for framing. We recommend these also for artwork as it displays it in a more artistic and textured way, preserving the original characteristics.
RGB Digital offers the following paper types for our fine art prints:
- Premium Lustre and Gloss – Epson 260gsm. These stocks are most similar to our photographic lustre and gloss paper but have a higher white point. This is a better option especially for artwork to display the full-colour range.
- Enhanced Matte – Epson 190gsm. This stock is flat and completely non-reflective, more like general paper stock but thicker – Great for framing all types of images.
- Rag Photographique – Canson 310gsm. This is cotton-based, flat and completely non-reflective stock, it has a higher white point than the above stocks. Compared to other paper stocks it is quite thick.
- Aquarelle Rag – Canson 240gsm. This is a cotton-based stock with a watercolour texture. Non-reflective and also with a higher white point. This paper type is popular for artwork reproduction as it allows the characteristics of the art to be enhanced.
All prints come trimmed flush to the edge of the print.
