Also called AgX, C Type or Chromogenic
Silver Halide ( or Silver Salt ) paper has many layers of silver halide emulsion with dye couplers that change to dye layers when chemically processed.
The paper is exposed to light to light to form a latent image which is processed in a developer to increase the light effects and the a bleach to remove unwanted non image forming emulsion, Fixed to make the image permanent and then stabilised to remove any left over chemical.
This is the best paper for archival colour imaging and is rated to last 200 years.
We use Kodak Professional Endura Premier.
